ERH 38/3B Thumb retracting brace, Neuron series
- Increased muscle tension causing bending and adduction of the wrist and thumb.
- A proper adjustment of the wrist and thumb gradually restores hand functionality, and most of all potential adverse consequences resulting from the wrong position.
- Apart from the thenar, the orthosis covers also the metacarpus and the wrist.
- It abducts the thenar and the thumb. It stabilizes the wrist joint in the optimal position.
- The brace does not have additional stiffeners. By compressing the thenar and the thumb, the flexible material increases the stability and corrects the abduction positioning.
