• The orthosis corrects the position of the foot in relation to the lower leg, prevents joint axis disorders and restores its functional movement.
• Adjustable hinges of the MAXI joint are available in a version that allows for selective flexion and extension movement or limits plantar flexion.
• Prevents contractures of the Achilles tendon and flexion of the foot.
• Prevents deformations in patients who are mainly sitting or lying down. Ensuring joint stabilization during verticalization and at night.
• The extra comfort option guarantees relief from sensitive areas, minimizing the possibility of abrasions and bruises in the foot and ankle joint

• Two-layer orthosis. The soft and flexible inner layer provides greater comfort and fit. The stiffer outer layer ensures durability and strength of the structure.
• The brace is equipped with an adjustable ankle hinge, adjustable using the included Allen key. The hinge allows for varied movement at the ankle joint.

POSITIONING

• The hinge allows you to immobilize the ankle joint in any position. Starting from the maximum plantar flexion of the foot (foot extension deficit, lack of an intermediate position, Achilles tendon contracture) to the maximum dorsiflexion of the foot.
• Dedicated to patients who are mainly sitting or lying down. It enables the verticalization of a patient with Achilles tendon contracture or prevents further limitation of the range of motion due to increased muscle tension or spasticity.  In case of significant consent plantar height deficit between the heel and the ground can be supplemented with a wedge. This solution allows for stable support of the entire foot.

STRETCHING/REDRESSION

• Includes the above-described properties of the hinge and the possibility of smooth adjustment and, as a result, changing the range of motion in the joint.
• It allows for gradual adjustment of the orthosis to the patient’s abilities, changes achieved as a result of manual or pharmacological therapy (Botulinum therapy) or orthopedic intervention.

WALK/WALK

• Limits plantar flexion of the foot, leaving a full, unlimited range of dorsiflexion. It allows you to change the position of the foot in relation to the shin so as to correct the hyperextension of the knee joint.

To apply for a refund for any product in the field of standard and individual orthotics, follow the algorithm below

1. The family doctor issues a referral to a specialist
2. A specialist doctor or physiotherapist issues an order (application) for specific orthopedic equipment. In the case of a physiotherapist, it is possible to obtain an order only for standard equipment. Individual, tailor-made orthotics are ordered by a specialist doctor. 
3. A confirmed order (application) can be completed in a medical salon or orthopedic facility.
