ERH 47/2 HYBRID/ Wrist splint with thumb abduction
- Increased muscle tension of the wrist flexors
- Stabilization after orthopedic injuries (fractures and dislocations)
Destiny
- The Hybrid version is intended mainly for neurological patients. Provides better hand correction options in case of muscle spasticity.
- The corrective action covers the wrist joint and the thumb.
- Stabilizes the wrist joint in slight dorsiflexion with the possibility of thumb abduction.
- Prevents flexion of the wrist and its ulnarization.
- The additional position of the thumb allows it to be abducted and kept in the optimal position.
- The Hybrid version provides better hand correction options in the event of muscle spasticity. Due to its built-up nature, there is an elastic cuff on the back of the hand and forearm. It allows for more effective positioning and the use of less force in the case of a spastic hand.
- The ability to completely open the orthosis makes it easier to put on and allows for gradual compression and pressure.
- The flexible, springy connection of the forearm and hand parts allows for slight movement in the joint while maintaining continuous, dynamic work towards extension.
- In the forearm part, at the height of the first strap, there is a flexible clamp that can be individually shaped. Prevents the orthosis from moving on the forearm during use.
- The orthosis is also available in a version with an ulnarization lock (positioning the wrist towards the little finger.) The lock can be additionally shaped, increasing or decreasing its scope.
