ERH 67/1 Splint-strap lower limb apparatus with sandal – KAFO Neuroextense series

The braces are designed for patients with knee joint and foot muscles contractures or spasticity due to:
Post-traumatic brain injuries
Cerebral palsy
Meningomyelocele
Complications after fractures

It stabilizes the lower limb
It straightens the knee joint and the foot
It helps to restore and maintain the proper length of the muscle flexing the knee and foot

The versatility in a single orthosis allows the selective application of its parts: the entire lower limb, only on the knee joint on the same foot and lower leg
The braces are equipped with pneumatic knee joint extension mechanism that causes constant and fluent movement of stretching (redressment) of constructed muscles
The power of extension mechanism is adjusted individually
The soft foam inside the foot part of the brace protects the foot against bruising
According to individual indications, the brace is available also in foot and ankle joint embracing version, that enables maintaining the proper length of muscles flexing the foot and the knee joint
