ERH 56/1 A device for the arm and forearm that redresses the elbow joint
- Due to the very thin side splints and small hinges of the elbow and wrist joints, the orthosis is intended for the youngest patients.
- Allows immobilization and gradual increase in the range of extension of the elbow and wrist joints, as well as supination and pronation of the forearm.
- The orthosis allows the elbow and wrist joint to be immobilized in the expected position and to gradually change the position as the therapy effects are achieved.
- The wrist joint is adjusted from full palmar flexion to maximum dorsal flexion.
- The brace is equipped with two thin side stabilizing splints with adjustable MANUAL Extense hinges
enabling immobilization in any position and gradual increase in joint extension. - The angle of flexion or extension of the joint is adjusted by turning the worm mechanism directly in the hinge.
- As rehabilitation progresses, the orthosis allows for a gradual increase in extension, without the possibility of additional movement.
- Rigid bows on the dorsal side of the limb ensure the stability of the orthosis and increase the effectiveness of maintaining the expected joint position.
- Adjustment within the hand allows immobilization in supination or pronation of the forearm:
– from full palmar flexion
– up to full dorsiflexion every 10°. - The brace has the ability to dismantle the part covering the wrist and hand.
- Soft tightening straps ensure anatomical fit and adjustment of the compression level.
