ERH 49 ORTHOSIS – ankle joint stabilizer
- The apparatus is designed for patients with walking disorders due to central and peripheral nervous system disorders
- Lack or decreased foot dorsal flexion
- Fibular nerve palsy
- Ankle joint instability
- Deformations and joint axis disorders
- The apparatus embracing the foot, talocrural joint and crus counteracts their deformations
- The plantar parts limits supination and pronation and dynamically restores it to the middle position during movement
- The plantar part is made of elastic material embracing whole or ¾ of foot
- According to individual needs the joint flexing mechanism is available in version with only the dorsal flexion movement preserved or with possibility of full dorsal and plantar movement
- Straps embracing the forefoot and tarsus facilitate the proper heel position in the apparatus
- The brace is adapted to be worn in the footwear
