ERH 35/2 antihyperextension, Children’s orthosis correcting hyperextension of the knee joint
- The orthosis is used in patients, mainly children, with gait disorders resulting from hyperextension of the knee joint.
- Intended for young patients with mild and moderate dysfunction.
- Lateral instability of the knee joint combined with joint hyperextension.
- Hyperextension of the knee joint of neurological origin or as a result of orthopedic injuries.
- Corrects the position of the knee joint in the sagittal plane.
- Prevents hyperextension of the knee joint. Preventing the lower leg from escaping backwards.
- Provides stabilization and correction of the knee joint position.
- The brace is made in the form of an open cuff.
- It has adjustable circumference in the thigh and lower leg parts. This allows for easy and quick putting on and taking off the orthosis.
- The brace is equipped with sewn-in side splints with a movable joint in the joint, made of very thin and flexible hardened steel, to which cross-straps under the knee are attached, correcting the position of the knee joint.
- Changing the length of the knee straps increases the corrective effect of the orthosis.
- Elastic side splints ensure optimal joint stabilization without the need for strong immobilization as in the case of conventional orthoses.
