ERH 66/1 Immobilizing – redressing hip joint apparatus – Butterfly, Hip to Move series
- Lack or incomplete hip-tight joint stabilization due to:
- Cerebral palsy
- Myelomeningocele
- Stabilizes the pelvis and prevents crossing of the limbs while walking.
- Stabilizes or immobilizes lower limbs at any angle of flexion or visit.
- According to individual indications and patient’s functional abilities, the brace can work statically or dynamically:
- While working statically the brace immobilizes the hip joint in optional angle of retardation, flexure and extension
- While working dynamically the brace stabilizes pelvis and hip joint, counteracts internal rotation and adduction/ crossing of legs during walking. It supports the alternate movement of limbs including the movement of pelvis in frontal plane
It protects the hip joint in abduction
